Self-Check Menopause Test Description

The menopause is a natural phase of a woman’s life which leads to her last menstrual period. It is caused by the deterioration of oestrogen and progesterone levels, which enable women to have a period each month.

Menopausal symptoms can often be distressing and uncomfortable and take many women by surprise. These symptoms include hot flushes, vaginal itching and dryness, sweating, insomnia and depression to name a few.

With the Menopause Test you can find out within 10 minutes if you are in the middle of the menopause. The kit uses a urine test strip that detects levels of FSH in the urine which indicate the presence or absence of FSH – letting you know if you have arrived at your menopause.

This kit contains two single tests.

The self-check menopause test is a urine test that can detect FSH (follicle stimulating hormones) in the urine, which indicates whether or not a woman is experiencing the menopause. For women who want to quickly determine whether they have arrived at their menopause this test takes just 10 minutes to give results.

Please use this test as directed. This test requires a urine sample. The test contains two single tests. To get an accurate reading a second test must be performed a week after the original test.
